DOS AMANTES

DOS AMANTES - Sephardic songs with Klezmer notes
The program Dos Amantes refers to the roots of Sephardic music and shows its modern aspect as a still living tradition. The songs are performed in the original language of Sephardic Jews called ladino, but the instruments and arrangements refer also to Spanish, Arabic as well as Klezmer music.

The music is performed on ancient, traditional and classical instruments, which is an exceptional mixture and makes the consort sound unique.

In 2011 the CD “DOS AMANTES – Sephardic songs” recorded live on November 2010 in the Concert Studio “S1” of the Polish Radio in Warsaw was published.
